If you’re looking for a church or wanting to explore your faith, we’d love to help.
If you’d like to explore our beliefs in more depth, you can read the CEEC Basis of Faith, which our PCCs have formally endorsed. We’ve also created a simple, easy-to-read summary of what we believe for those just beginning to explore faith or looking for a quick overview.
“We are a group of Church of England churches that follow Jesus and share his love with others. We believe in one God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—who made the world and wants everyone to know him.
We believe the Bible is God’s word. It helps us know who God is and how to live in a good and wise way. It speaks into every part of life—our families, friendships, work, money, and more.
We believe Jesus died and rose again to bring us back to God. Through him, we can be forgiven, find hope, and live with purpose.
We believe God’s Holy Spirit is with us today—helping us pray, changing us to be more like Jesus, and giving us strength to live for Him.
The Church is God’s family, and we are here to worship him, care for others, and grow in faith together. We celebrate baptism and communion as special gifts from God that help us remember his love, grow in faith, and follow Jesus more closely.
One day Jesus will return to make everything new. Until then, we want to follow him and help others do the same.”
If you’re curious about God, have big questions about life, or just want to explore faith in a friendly setting, we’d love to welcome you. You’re always welcome at any of our Sunday services or community events, where you can listen, ask questions and meet others on the journey. We also run Start Courses once or twice a year—relaxed, informal sessions designed to help you explore who Jesus is and what it means to follow him.
